HCMC suspends five more bottled water companies

The Ho Chi Minh City Health Department Wednesday suspended operations at five more bottled water companies found selling unsafe water.

The suspended brands include: Seahore (21 liter bottles) of the Hong Quan Company bottled on May 4; Aquavina (21 liters) of the Viet Thuong Company bottled on May 19; Pongour (21 liters) of the Mai Quoc Dat Company bottled on May 19; Swans (21 liters) of the Thuan Phuoc Enterprise bottled on May 13; and Thien Thanh (20 liters) of the Tan Thien Thanh Company bottled on May 12.

The department also suspended ice-maker Hong Van Phuoc Ice-Producing Firm in Hoc Mon District.

Inspectors have ordered the companies to recall their products from the market.
