Vietnam records 10 new H1N1 cases

Health authorities on Sunday detected seven H1N1 cases in Ho Chi Minh City and three others in the north, raising the nation’s tally to 285.

The seven cases in HCMC were four Vietnamese and one Australian returning from abroad; and two other Vietnamese who had come into contact with infected people coming from overseas.

At the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Sunday, nine other passengers were quarantined on influenza A (H1N1) suspicions.

So far, the number of H1N1 cases in HCMC has reached 226, about 200 of whom have been discharged after full recovery.
