Ho Chi Minh City’s Market Management Bureau found one of the country’s major drug store chains storing expired and unregistered drugs, functional cookings, and milk on Thursday.

After the simultaneous inspections at 18 My Chau drug stores, the bureau also inspected storage facilities at the Lan Khue and Minh Phuoc pharmacies. All three companies are owned by Le Thi My Chau.

The agency confiscated the expired and undocumented My Chau products and also seized 125 cartons of expired pharmaceuticals from the other two stores. Three cartons of drugs that didn’t have proper Vietnamese labels were also confiscated from Lan Khue and Minh Phuoc.
