VietNamNet Bridge – The Party’s inspection sector organised a meeting in Hanoi on October 14 to celebrate its 60th anniversary and receive the Gold Star Order in recognition of its contributions to the revolutionary cause of the nation.

He acknowledged the inspection sector’s efforts to overcome difficulties and stand firm in its stance to fulfil all assigned tasks. He also pointed out the inconsistency and slow progress in renewing the organisational structure and operation of Party Inspection Commissions at all levels.

The Party leader asked the inspection commissions at all levels to keep a close watch on the implementation of the Party’s resolutions, perfect their inspection and supervisory work and adopt preventative measures to nip violations in the bud.

Exemplary role models should be complimented and replicated while violations should be strictly dealt with, said Mr Manh.

Mr Manh said that the inspection and supervisory work is the primary task of the entire Party and Party organisations from the central to the grassroots-level and that grassroots-level inspection commissions form the core of the entire process.

Party committees, organisations and their heads must draw up inspection plans and regularly carry out the enforcement of the Party’s rules on organisation, democratic practice and unity, considering it a decisive factor behind the strength of Party organisations, said Mr Manh.

Currently, the Party’s inspection sector has more than 6,000 full-time and nearly 70,000 part-time staff members.
