Department, district heads to step up media interaction

| The heads of various departments and districts in Ho Chi Minh City will be required to act as spokespersons and be responsible for providing information to the media, according to a recent regulation. |
The administrative authorities have to supply the local press with reports and news at least every three months via press releases and statements on their websites, and hold at least one press conference every six months, according to the regulation, which was passed by the city’s Department of Information and Communications. They are also responsible for informing the press about any event and circumstance of concern under their supervision that can have significant impact on the society. Reported by Minh Nam |
