VN-Cambodia visa exemption pact to take effect next month

| Relevant Vietnamese agencies are preparing for the planned visa exemption pact between Vietnam and Cambodia to go into force on December 4, the consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said yesterday. | |
According to the agreement which was signed in Hanoi on November 4, citizens of both countries with ordinary passports valid for at least six months can transit or stay in the other country for up to 14 days without having to get a visa. With this agreement, Vietnamese citizens can now visit all ASEAN member nations, except Myanmar, without a visa. Reported by Xuan Danh | |
