VietNamNet Bridge - A National Assembly delegation led by Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong left Hanoi on January 11 for Vientiane, Laos, to attend the 17th annual meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF).

He was accompanied by chairman of the NA Committee for External Affairs Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of the NA Office Tran Dinh Dan and representatives of the NA Committees for Economic Affairs, and Social Issues.

APPF 17 is being held in Laos from January 11-15, focusing on issues relating to security-politics, economic and trade cooperation within the Asia-Pacific region, as well as future activities of the forum.
