PM begins first UAE visit by Vietnamese leader

| Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung begins today a five-day trip to boost trade and commercial ties with the United Arab Emirates, the Vietnam News Agency reported Saturday. |
| The visit will be the first to the Emirates (UAE) by a Vietnamese government leader since the two countries established diplomatic ties in 1993. Prime Minister Dung, along with several ministers and provincial heads, will discuss bilateral cooperation with UAE leaders, focusing on labor export, energy, finance and agriculture as well as measures to increase mutual understanding and cooperation on regional and international issues.
