Concluding its February regular meeting, the Government called upon all ministries, sectors and localities to take synchronous measures to facilitate production and business and maximize resources for development.

There are five missions which must be fulfilled:

First, the consumption and investment stimulus must be properly carried out in order to boost up production and business, maintain stable development. Investigation and supervision will be tightened to prevent the misuse and waste of resources.

Second, it is necessary to expand export markets, early issue policies on trade and export promotion, strictly control trade gap, and encourage the production and consumption of domestically-made goods.

Third, the realization and disbursement of projects using the State budget, governmental bonds and ODA will be accelerated, especially those on electricity, transport, irrigation, education, health care, agriculture and aquaculture.

Four, effective and flexible policies on foreign exchange will be introduced with a view to accelerating exports, ceasing imports, and ensuring the balance of foreign exchange demand-supply.

Finally, market prices will be put under control in order to prevent domino price escalation which will cause negative impacts on production, business, and people’s life.
