Vietnam, Laos agree to labour cooperation

| Vietnam’s Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and its Lao counterpart have signed an agreement on sending Vietnamese experts to work in Laos.
The contract was inked in the Lao province of Luang Prabang, following talks between MOLISA Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and Lao Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Onchanh Thammavong. The two ministers discussed and agreed upon a number of issues regarding cooperation in labour and social welfare. They also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two ministries in the years to come.
