PM encourages civil servants to work in poor districts

VietNamNet Bridge - The Prime Minister recently announced a policy to encourage young civil servants to work in 61 poor suburban districts.

The policy is aimed to increase the working knowledge of civil servants and put in place a number of skilled staff in poor areas.

Civil servants under 40-years old at provincial and district level will be located in the areas for three to five years.

In order to attract officials, civil servants will enjoy a living allowance and social and health insurance, plus other advantages.

The Civil servants also will be approved to raise wage before required time (12 months).

The Government also wants to encourage young people with specialized technical skills to work in the 61 poor suburban districts with policies such as sign labor contracts, enjoy a living allowance, social and health insurances as well as create good condition to assistant young people research and study more.
