US Senator John McCain will stop over in Hanoi on April 6 during his week-long Asian tour.

He will also visit Hoa Lo (Hanoi Hilton) Prison where he was imprisoned during the Vietnam War.

The Senator left Washington DC on April 3 for the Asian tour. Hong Kong is his first stop-over, then comes Hanoi. After that, he will fly to Tokyo and Beijing.

The influential figure was the Republican Party’s candidate for the 2008 US Presidential Election.
