South Africa celebrates Freedom Day in Vietnam

| Famed band âThree Tons of Funâ tonight kicks off a slew of events planned by the South African Embassy in Vietnam this year to mark the 15th anniversary of Freedom Day. |
| The events also mark and 15 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries, South African Ambassador to Vietnam Ratubatsi S. Moloi said at a press conference in Hanoi Monday. The year of events includes seminars on the roles of South African and Vietnamese youths, discussions of the role of women in poverty reduction efforts, investment seminars and exhibitions. Freedom Day, April 27, marks the first post-apartheid South African elections held in 1994. Reported by Huong Giang |
