The establishment of the consulate will not only help Austrian residents in HCMC but also contribute to boosting cultural, educational and investment promotion activities between the two countries, Trung said.

Trung, who is general director of Austria’s WAZ Media Group in Vietnam, has obtained doctorate and bachelor degrees in law and economics from Russia and Hungary respectively.
