Governmentâs meeting to discuss impact of WTO integration

| The World Trade Organization (WTO) is at the top of the discussion list at the governmentâs upcoming two-day monthly meeting to review Aprilâs activities, to be held in Hanoi Monday. |
| At the meeting, delegates expect to hear a report about how its admission to the WTO has impacted Vietnam after two years and another report on implementing major policies encouraging a fast-growing and sustainable economy while a member of the trade organization. The governmentâs members will hear a report on taking urgent measures to prevent economic recession, maintain economic growth and guarantee social security. In addition, they will also give opinions about development support for small and medium enterprises, and evaluate the socio-economic situation in April along with the first quarter, and forecast the economic situation in Vietnam and the world.
