The South Korean embassy has announced that Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will pay his first official visit to Seoul and attend the Korea-ASEAN Special Summit from June 1-2.

At the ASEAN-South Korean Summit, Dung will meet with leading businesses in the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) region and South Korea. He will appraise them of economic prospects in Vietnam and call for more positive engagement in the country by South Korean businesses.

Representatives of 80 Vietnamese businesses are expected to join the prime minister on his trip, the embassy said.
