Vietnam wishes to develop ties with Central Africa

| LookAtVietnam – Vietnam wants to develop a friendly relationship and multi-faceted cooperation with all African countries, including the Republic of Central Africa, for the benefit of both peoples and for peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world at large.
The Party leader welcomed the Central African President to Vietnam , considering the latter’s visit an indication of the friendship between the two States and peoples. He confirmed that Vietnam is ready to share its experience with Central Africa , especially in agricultural development, poverty reduction, health and education. The Vietnamese leader praised Central Africa ’s efforts for political stability and national conciliation that would help facilitate economic reforms and improve its people’s living standard. He also said that he believed the Republic of Central Africa would make greater achievements during its period of national construction and development. For his part, President Yangouvonda said that Central Africa attaches a great importance to furthering its friendship and cooperation with Vietnam , particularly in agriculture, health, education and poverty reduction. He expressed his respect for the life and work of late President Ho Chi Minh and his admiration for Vietnam ’s struggles for independence in the past and its current process of national development. T he same day, the Central African President met with National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong, who said he hoped that the President would pay attention to enhancing the relationship between both parliaments. The top Vietnamese legislator pointed out that the framework agreement on bilateral ties, signed during the visit, will help strengthen ties and be mutually beneficial for both peoples. President Yangouvonda assured the NA Chairman that he would support an increase in cooperation and exchanges between the two parliaments and that both countries should boost bilateral and tri-partite cooperation and work together in the framework of the Francophone Community. He expressed his belief that Vietnam, with its great potential for development, will reap more rewards during its programme of national construction and development. VietNamNet/VNA
