Alderman Ian Luder, Lord Mayor of the City of London

Alderman Ian Luder, Lord Mayor of the City of London, will lead a group of leading financial and service businesses on a visit to Vietnam from July 1-6.

He is scheduled to meet with the prime minister, the minister of finance, the governor of the State Bank, and the mayors of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as many Vietnamese businesses.

He will attend a workshop on Vietnam’s legal integration into the World Trade Organization, deliver a speech at a conference on Ho Chi Minh City’s prospects for becoming a regional financial center and meet with British businesses operating in Vietnam.

Vietnam is one of the Lord Mayor’s stopovers during his Asian trip from June 29 to July 10. Besides Vietnam he will visit the Republic of Korea and Malaysia.
