Australian lieutenant general to visit Vietnam tomorrow

The Australian Vice Chief of Defense Force (VCDF), Lieutenant General David Hurley will visit Vietnam from August 2-6, the Australian Embassy in Hanoi said in a statement Friday. | |||||||
| Hurley will talk on the Australiaâ“ Vietnam Defense relationship with his counterparts in the Vietnamese Peopleâs Army (VPA) and meet VPA officers who are undergoing English Language Training under the Australia-Vietnam Defense Cooperation Program. The VPA have provided ADF with invaluable support for the recovery of ADF Missing in Action (MIA) personnel from the Vietnam War over many years, according to the statement.
