Hanoi authorities on July 28 submitted 45 economic and social development plans, which were drafted in 2009, to the Ministry of Planning and Investment for consideration.

Hanoi will have a plan to develop its hospital system.

Among them, the Economic and Social Development Comprehensive Plan to 2020 and vision to 2030 and the Economic and Social Development Strategy to 2030 and vision to 2050 will be submitted to the Prime Minister.

The general economic and social development plan for Hanoi’s 17 districts were ratified and detailed plans will be made and approved from now to 2010.

The city worked out development plans for 19 sectors and areas to 2020 and 2030, for example the health-care system and education-training development plans, the school network planning in Hanoi, the plan to develop a system of filling stations in the city and others.

The detailed development plans for sectors and areas will be completed by June 2010 and will be approved by the Hanoi People’s Committee, said Hanoi’s vice chairman Hoang Manh Hien.
