To prepare, the Government Inspectorate on May 19 organised a workshop to evaluate progress in fighting corruption in health care and to examine surveys of corruption in education.

At the request of donors, the dialogue on combating corruption has focused on specific fields. After considering corruption in capital construction and health, the 7th dialogue will concentrate on fighting corruption in education.

Since the last dialogue was held over six months ago, the Government Inspectorate has made many surveys on corruption in education. The results of these surveys will be reported at the upcoming gathering.

Reviewing the results of combating corruption in health over the last six months, Ministry of Health Chief Inspector Bui Duc Phong revealed that the Ministry has simplified procedures and proposed to simplify at least 30 percent of those related to health.
