Russia shares public asset management with Vietnam

Russia is willing to share with Vietnam its
experiences in managing public assets and making related legal documents, Vice
President of the State Duma’s Public Asset Committee Germanovich Medvedev said.

Medvedev, who is also President of
the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Group, was received by National
Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu in Hanoi on December 14.

The Vietnamese NA official told his
guest he was pleased to see the traditional friendship, multifaceted cooperation

deepened for the sake of their people.

He described the organisation of a
great number of events in political, diplomatic and cultural fronts to mark the
60th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties as vivid
manifestation of their friendship and cooperation.

Happy with strong outcomes in
bilateral economic, scientific and technological ties, Luu, however, pointed out
that the two countries’ two-way trade value, though increasing steadily year
after year, remains below its potential and that Vietnam is striving to raise
the value to US$20 billion by 2020.

The Russian guest showed his

Noting the importance of energy in
