VietNamNet Bridge - The 38th session of the 12th National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee concluded on February 19.

During the session, the Committee debated a number of draft laws to be submitted at the upcoming NA meeting. They include capital law, anti-human traficking law, independent audit law, and the revised laws on amendments and supplements to some articles in the civil procedure code.

Delegates discussed the Government’s report assessing the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget in 2010 and early 2011.

They also discussed the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group’s allotment of VND3,500 billion from the State budget in 2011.

Also during the session, delegates gave their opinions about revised laws on amendments and supplements to some articles in the ordinance on procurators of the People’s Procuracy and the ordinance on judges and jurors of the People’s Courts.

Speaking at the session, NA Chairman Trong, who is also the Party General Secretary, highlighted the outcomes of the 38th session and asked NA agencies to promptly supplement the approved laws.
