French chef starts culinary journey in Hanoi

The hotel’s new executive chef has a great desire to combine the diverse ingredients and tastes of this tropical country with the traditions and flavors of France to create innovative dishes for international guests at the luxury hotel in the capital city.

The 39-year-old chef has passionately cherished a dream of finding new ingredients to cook authentic French as well as international specialties for his clientele wherever he works.

“Cooking is a great pleasure as it involves working with products coming straight from the ground, interacting their textures and tastes, and creating unique dishes with which to surprise your guests,” he said.

At the Sofitel Metropole Hanoi, chef Bosia will share Ms aspiration and experience with young and dedicated Vietnamese chefs while at the same time learning about Vietnam’s gastronomy.

After graduating in France, chef Bosia began his journey of exploring and experiencing the culinary ingredients and flavors of France, Scotland, Ireland, Austria, Cyprus, Switzerland and Japan at the many hotels and restaurants where he has worked. Bosia came to his new post at Sofitel Metropole Hanoi from the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney in Australia.

His passion and experience will help maintain the Sofitel Metropole Hanoi as one of the top culinary destinations in Vietnam.
