ASEAN School Tour 2008 arrives in Da Nang City

| VietNamNet Bridge - The ASEAN Secretariat in collaboration with the Da Nang City Department of Education and Training organise the ASEAN School Tour at Le Quy Don Senior High School for gifted students on December 6.
The event was attended by students from five secondary and high schools in Da Nang City, namely Phan Chau Trinh, Hoang Hoa Tham, Truong Vuong, Nguyen Khuyen and Le Quy Don. Addressing the cultural exchange, Thai Van Han, deputy director of the municipal Department of Education and Training, said the city always wishes to strengthen friendship and solidarity with countries and territories all over the world in the spirit of mutual understanding and development. The ASEAN School Tour is the best opportunity for students to improve their knowledge and skills to contribute to the growth of their country, he said. During the event, students from the different schools gave performances and took part in quizzes held by the ASEAN Secretariat. (Source: VOV) |
