LookAtVietnam – A supporting association consisting of 30 German universities has recently been established to assist the development of the Ho Chi Minh City-based Vietnam-Germany university.

Hessen state’s Minister of Sciences and Art, Eva Kuehn-Hoermann, said authorities and private institutions of German states as well as their universities will make financial and professional contributions to the association.

She emphasised that the establishment of the association will help introduce the German education to the world and promote Vietnam and Germany’s education and training cooperation.

President of the Vietnam-Germany university Wolf Rieck expressed his hope for a successful German standard university in Vietnam.

The Vietnam-Germany university, which was opened on Sept. last year, currently has 35 hi-tech students.
