The Chairman of the Teikyo Educational Group, billionaire Yoshihito Okynaga, said if Teikyo’s master training program in cooperation with the Hanoi National University runs smoothly, the group will expand its activities in Vietnam.

The Teikyo Loretto Heights University and ETC signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement to implement high-quality training courses and student exchange programs.

The Japanese billionaire met with officials of the Hanoi National University and the Training Technology and Employment System Centre (ETC) (under the Hanoi National University) from February 16-17.

Billionaire Okynaga said if the cooperation program between Teikyo and the Hanoi National University is successful, Teikyo will have many more cooperation projects with the Vietnamese partner.

Teikyo is among the world’s largest educational groups, with total assets of more than US $6 billion. It owns the three largest universities in Japan, including the Teikyo University, five colleges, eight vocational trainings, hospitals, research centres, the Teikyo Loretto Heights University in the US, and other training centres in Europe and Asia.

Schools owned by Teikyo train around 50,000 students a year.
