VietNamNet Bridge - Vietnamese students in Moscow held a get-together on March 22 to mark the 78th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Speaking at the function, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia, Bui Dinh Dinh, said that in recent years, Vietnamese youth union members in Russia has achieved success in studying, working and running business, as well as upholding the valuable traditions of the Vietnamese youth.

Participants at the event had a chance to enjoy performances by Vietnamese students from 17 universities in Moscow.

On the occasion, eight outstanding students were presented with the “Sao Thang Gieng” Award in recognition of their admirable academic achievements and great contributions to the youth union’s development.

The total number of Vietnamese youth union members in Russia has reached more than 2,500 and they are all engaged in various programmes launched by the Vietnamese Embassy in Moscow, such as the movement to study and follow the late President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example, cultural exchange programmes, and sports events.
