Dong A College partners with US universities

LookAtVietnam – The central Da Nang city-based Dong A College on April 3 signed training cooperation agreements with the East Los Angeles College and the Fort Hayes State University, both from the United States.

Under the terms of the deals, students who register to join this programme will study for one year at the East Los Angeles College after finishing the first two years at Dong A and then pursue a graduate degree at the Fort Hayes State University in the fourth year.

Nguyen Thi Anh Dao, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Dong A College, said her school hopes to enroll students for the programme as from the 2009-2010 academic year, starting with business administration courses.

East Los Angeles College President Ernest H. Moreno said the move will open up a range of opportunities for cooperation between the two colleges and improve their training quality.

The Dong A College has cooperated in training with a number of colleges and universities both inside and outside the country, including Dennogo and the Human Resources Institute in Japan, Alacarte Asia in Australia, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Da Nang University.
