The Ministry of Education and Training, and the Swedish Embassy officially opened a law library April 18 at the HCM City University of Law.

The opening coincides with the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Sweden.

The library cost around US$1 million. It has been filled with many legal documents and law books, and modern equipment.

The library will become the largest legal information center in the Southern region, contributing to improving law training in Vietnam.

This is the second such library funded by Sweden. The first opened at Hanoi Law University in 2007.
