LookAtVietnam – Online lesson plans have become a familiar concept, as more and more teachers share lesson plans on the internet with colleagues and students.

In Violet online library, a well known address for teachers, there are plenty of lesson plans for physical exercise subjects.

Teacher of physical education Nguyen Van Luong from Tran Hung Dao secondary school in Phu Yen province said that online lesson plans have helped students love the subject which before they thought was dull.

According to Violet’s administrators, the website now has 1.8 million members who are teachers and students. The website provides more than 100,000 online lesson plans for different education levels.

Like Violet, VLOS is also a well known address which has attracted many teachers who give online lecturers for different subjects, from popular to specific ones.

Educators believe that in the near future, online lesson plans will be used even more, since the Ministry of Education and Training is planning to carry out a trial “electronic school”.

Nguyen Van Luan, a student of the HCM City University of Transport, said that he and his classmates always download lectures for reference. “It is very useful for students,” he said.

Nguyen Thi Truc, Teacher of Hoa Hong Nursery School in Phu Yen province, also said that she finds online lectures useful.

“The lesson plans help me a lot in keeping up with teaching methods,” she said.

Teacher of Mathematics from Ngo Quyen Secondary School said that when lesson plans are available, teachers can learn skills from colleagues, while students can offer suggestions to make lectures more interesting.

It is clear that Internet is also a tool that helps connect people. Teacher Dao Van Tuyen, who is teaching at a school in the southern province of Ca Mau, is now exchanging lectures everyday with teacher Nguyen Thu Ha, who lives in a suburb area of Hanoi in the north.

Elsewhere, Friends and teachers of Le Nhu Thien, who sacrificed himself to rescue people in the flood attack in Phu Yen province, have promised to join together to improve Violet website.

His wish was made clear in his diary that he left behind.
