A ceremony was
held at the Au Co theater in Hanoi on November 14 to honour 23 students who won
medals at international and regional Olympiad competitions.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister

in the educational sector.

The State and society always provide
the best conditions for students to study well, he said.

The medal winners received
certificates of merit from the Prime Minister and credit cards worth VND3
million each from the Vietnam International Bank (VIB).

The two bronze medalists at the

On the occasion, 26 teachers were
also awarded the certificates of merits for their work in selecting and
nurturing young talent for these international competitions.

Earlier, the students offered
incense at the Temple of Literature, the Thang Long Royal Citadel, the temple of
Kings Ding and King Le and Bai Dinh pagoda, and presented gifts to disadvantaged
