Around 10,000 people will walk in Hanoi and HCM City in the morning on September 20 to raise funds for street children and poor children.

This is part of a programe for street children and poor children who are keen on studying called “Sharing dreams of childhood”. This event will take place on September 19-20 at the HCM City’s Thong Nhat meeting-hall with 700 kids from centres for disadvantaged children and poor children in HCM City. 500 million dong will be presented to poor children who are eager to learn.

In Hanoi, 5000 people will walk at the August Revolution Square, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi on September 20. Disadvantaged children will gather to pitch tents, draw and play folk games.

The events are being organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on the occasion of the Full Moon Festival.
