A local principal in the northern province of Ha Giang is now under investigation for allegedly forcing schoolgirls to have sex with him, a local official said on Friday.

Whenever the two graduates from Viet Lam High School - Nguyen Thi Thuy and one known as Hang – found a girl, they would call Xuong and send the girl to a hotel in Bac Quang District, according to the police reports.

Investigators have so far identified at least three eighth-graders allegedly forced to have sex with Xuong, who was suspended from his post as head administrator of Viet Vinh High School in Bac Quang District on September 8 following his arrest.

Hang and Thuy, who were now in police custody, said they also had sex with other officials. Other victims said the same.

The investigation was launched following reports by the victims’ families early this month.

Police said they were continuing their probe.
