LookAtVietnam – As of April 15, 2010 all toys must have safety certificates to be sold on the market, according to the Ministry of Science and Technology’s new circular.

Under the new circular, all toy producers and importers have to make public the standards on safety for children on their products. Toys must carry warnings to diminish risks to children.

The circular also set a specific set of criteria on toys for kids less than 36 months old.

All toys in the market must have stamps fixed by competent agencies proving that they meet all criteria for safety.
