LookAtVietnam – 450 outstanding young people are in Hanoi for the first Congress for Young Talents from September 13-16.

Nguyen Cong Hung (sitting), 27, has overcome many difficulties to build the Cong Hung IT Company for disabled people in the central province of Nghe An. Hung won the Echip Magazine’s “IT Knight Award” and “The Outstanding Young Face of Vietnam” award in 2006.

Trinh Le Anh is a lecturer with the Tourism Faculty of the Hanoi University for Social Sciences and Humanities as well as a TV host. He was among the three most favorite TV hosts in the field of science and technology of Vietnam Television (VTV) in 2008. He won a gold medal for hosting the Black Box game-show at the National Television Festival 2008 and was Vietnam’s representative on the Southeast Asia youth ship in the same year.

Mua A Minh, a police officer from the northern mountainous province of Lai Chau, has solved 31 cases, including 4 big drug-related cases. He has won many certificates of merit from the General Department of Police, the Lai Chau Province People’s Committee and Lai Chau Police Agency. The Vietnamese President presented Minh a third-grade Feat of Arms Medal in early 2009.

Luu Trong Hieu is the youngest delegate at the first Congress for Young Talents 2009 (15). Hieu invented the “Paper-case – Lifebuoy” at the age of 12, which won first prize at the Creativeness Competition for Young People. Hieu was selected as an “Outstanding Young Face” in 2008, 2009.

Nguyen Tran Ngoc Hieu, 25, an army doctor, shared her passion for her job: “I chose this job when I was a fifth grader. At that time, the health of my grandparents and parents was not good because of the war’s effects. I wanted to become doctor to take care of the people’s health.”

Dang Hong Anh is the Chairman of the Real Estate Company of the Sacombank. He won the Red Star for excellent businessman, while his company won the Vietnam Gold Star Award for outstanding company in 2008.

Nguyen Ngoc Que Tran (right) is a young cai luong star who won the Most Favorite Awards of the HCM City Television (HTV). Quen Tran began learning cai luong at the age of 8.
