Vietnam to host world chemistry contest

Vietnam will host the 46th International Chemistry Olympiad for high school students in 2014. | |||||||
| Under a decision issued by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, the Ministry of Education and Training will cooperate with related agencies and localities as well as the Vietnam Chemistry Association in organizing the annual event in the country for the first time. The contest, which began in 1968, was held this year in the UK with the participation of students from 67 countries and territories. Four Vietnamese contestants returned with one gold, two silvers, and one bronze. Reported by H.Dung | |||||||
