VietNamNet Bridge – Rescue teams from Hai Phong on May 14 rescued 19 sailors on Chinese ship named Shun Anxing, which sank on the way from China to Hai Phong.

Vietnamese navy rescue nine foreigners

The ship carried 4000 tons of hewn rock and sank in the sea of Hai Phong at 8.30am, May 14.

Rescue teams at Hai Phong Port rescued 18 sailors and the ship’s captain, Sun Gen Bing.

The ship was hit by strong wind and waves, which made unsettled the cargo, which made the ship imbalanced.

On May 3 Vietnamese naval forces rescued nine foreign sailors, including six Indonesian, two Malaysians and one Burmese, whose boat was robbed in the sea of Truong Sa (Spratly) peninsula.
