A crazed buffalo caused disturbances for three hours along National Highway 743 in Thuan An district in Binh Duong province on the afternoon of July 1.

The mad buffalo.

The male buffalo chased anyone it saw, including two men walking on the roadside. The buffalo butted the belly of one man then continued chasing the another. The victim was immediately brought to a hospital.

Around 15 minutes later, the buffalo attacked two workers on a bicycle. They had to throw down their bike and run away.

Police were sent to the site and tried to drive the mad animal into a nearby cajuput garden to catch it, but the buffalo continued to run and attack people.

It took police three hours to isolate the buffalo, during which the animal chased a dozen people. Police finally brought the animal under control at 6pm.

It is said that this animal escaped from a slaughtering house in Dong Nai province and ran all the way to Binh Duong before attacking.
