The soil hillock is in the shape of a sitting Buddha and is around 50cm long, 30cm wide. Rubber latex collectors reported that the “Buddha statue” was previously a normal ant hill.

This hillock suddenly rose high in recent days. By the morning of June 30, it looked like a seated Buddha.

The rumor about the Buddha statue quickly spread and thousands have arrived to see and worship the “statue”.

People flocked to the rubber garden to admire the “statue”.

Residents quickly grasped this opportunity to earn extra money by selling cooking, incense and Buddhist objects to visitors.

To ensure order, authorities and Buddhist shangha moved the “Buddha statue” to a pagoda named Long Hung Co on July 1.

When the hillock moved, hundreds surrounded it to worship. They followed the car to see the “Buddha statue” to the pagoda.

After the “statue” was brought to Long Hung Co pagoda, the number of visitors rose.

It is said that this “statue” was made after recent rains.
