Ten ton ammo cache unearthed in Kon Tum

Provincial Military Headquarters Vice-Chief A Mon explained that this is an ammo cache left over from the Vietnam War.
By the afternoon of July 1, relevant agencies collected nearly 300 shells weighing nearly two tons, including 42 105mm gun shells, five for 155mm guns, 4 mortar shells for 82mm guns, directional mines, rocket bullets, and M72 grenade launchers, among others.
The excavation is still underway. It is estimated to contain around 10 tons of ammo.
