Heroes and Mothers of Heroes will begin their tour on September 26 from the southern province of Dong Thap. The delegation will travel along the country, visiting localities along the way, and arrive in Hanoi on October 10th.

Lieutenant General Tran Hanh, the President of the Vietnam War Veterans’ Association (VWVA) said that the program carried deep meaning.

“This is a chance to honor and pay our deepest respect and gratitude to those who have made great sacrifices and contributions to our nation’s security and development,” he said.

The tour will be held and supported by VWVA, the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union, and Mai Linh Group.
