The HCM City circus troupe won the gold medal for their act named Power of Arms at the International Circus Festival which closed on August 11 at Hanoi’s Central Circus Theatre.

Six silver medals and seven bronze medals were presented to artists from China, Germany, Cuba, Vietnam School of Circus Arts and Vietnam Circus Federation.

The festival attracted 23 acts by 257 circus artists from nine countries, including Laos, Cambodia, China, Cuba, Germany, Mongolia, Ukraine, Russia and Vietnam.

The event was jointly held by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Stage Artists’ Association, and the Vietnam Circus Federation from August 6-11.
