Hanoi to rename 43 streets and places

The Hanoi authorities have decided to name and rename some streets and places in the city.

Specifically, the city will have 29 newly built streets, such as Duy Tan, Do Quang, Vu Pham Ham, Nguyen Xien, Phu Ha, and Bui Xuan Phai.

The 28km Lang Hoa Lac Highway will be renamed as Thang Long Avenue, which includes Pham Hung – Khuat Duy Tien – Tran Duy Hung streets running through the districts of Tu Liem, Hoai Duc, Quoc Oai, and Thach That to national highway 21A.

The city also names some new construction works, including Thanh Tri Bridge, Vinh Tuy Bridge, Hoa Binh (Peace) Park, and Hanoi Museum.

Other new streets and roads are: Van La, Van Phu, Lua and Cau Am streets in Ha dong district; Duy Tan, Do Quang, Vu Pham Ham streets in Cau Giay District; Dinh Cong Ha, Linh Dam, Nguyen Canh Di, Nguyen Cong Thai, Hong Quang, and Nghiem Xuan Yem streets in Hoang Mai district.

Long Bien district will have new streets, such as Nguyen Van Huong, Ke Tanh, Hoang Nhu Tiep, Ai Mo, Huynh Tan Phat, Ngoc Tri, and Gia Thuy; Thanh Xuan, Hoang Mai and Thanh Tri districts will have Nguyen Xien road; Son Tay town will have Phu Ha and Trung Son Tram roads and Cong O and Tien Huan streets; Dong Anh district will have Dao Cam Moc, Nguyen Thuc, Le Huu Tuu, and Nguyen Khe roads.
