This bridge crosses Nhieu Loc-Thi Nghe canal. Once it opens for traffic, it will help ease traffic on streets like Dinh Tien Hoang, Vo Thi Sau, Hai Ba Trung, etc.

Construction on this bridge began in September 1998 with initial capital of only 19 billion dong. According to plan, it would have been finished in 16 months but actually, it has taken 12 years and three investors.

Total investment increased from 19 to 155 billion dong ($8.15 million).
