Fire followed an explosion at 6pm, August 8 at a warehouse in An Don Industrial Zone in Da Nang. A guard said after a big explosion, the fire boomed and quickly covered a warehouse of over 3000sq.m, which contained chemicals, fridges, electric wares and footwear of Huu Nghi Production and Trade JS Company. The fire caused losses in the millions of dollars. All fire trucks in Da Nang and hundreds of police were sent to the site. The fire was partly under control as of 9:30pm.
