The truck was going from Binh Chau commune in Quang Ngai province in the central province of Binh Dinh when it was seized.

There were three people in the truck, including the driver, 27, a local man and two women, 50 and 53 years old, from Binh Dinh province. One of them is the truck owner.

Dr. Pham Ngoc Khoi, an official from the Quang Ngai Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism said that the antiques may belong to China’s Ming Dynasty.

Local authorities couldn’t state the number and weight of antiques on the truck, but the truck was full of antiques. They are classifying and finding the origin of the antiques.

Nguyen Dang Vu, from the Quang Ngai Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said that in principle, they will be managed by the local museum.
