VietNamNet Bridge – Dozens of abandoned babies are being nurtured at Tien Phuoc II Pagoda in HCM City. Many of them suffer from incurable diseases.

This baby was less than one week old when she was placed at the gate of Tien Phuoc II pagoda two weeks ago.

Suffering from a heart defect and serious pneumonia, this baby was abandoned by her parents on August 11. She is being fed by a visitor.

This boy suffers from brain disease.

This 2-year-old girl is very happy to see a visitor.

However, some kids are very quiet.

After his parents divorced three years ago, this boy (red), nearly 10 years old, was sent to this pagoda. After class, he helps monk Nguyen Thanh to take care of other kids.

Kids consider Monk Nguyen Thanh as their mother.

This little girl was burned by touching a hot bowl of soup. The baby-sitter is tying her hair.

Looking at these kids, many people are moved by wondering about their future.
