VietNamNet Bridge – On October 2 afternoon, “King Ly Cong Uan” arrived in Hanoi after a long trip from the former capital Hoa Lu (Ninh Binh province). Hundreds of people stood on the Red Riverside to welcome the “king”.

Based on historical documents, the trip began from Sao Khe river through Hoang Long river, to Day river and then to the Red River.

The trip is part of activities in the ten-day celebration of Hanoi’s 1000^th anniversary. The trip started in Hoa Lu town, Ninh Binh province on September 30 and finished at the Thang Long royal citadel on October 2.
