Man arrested on suspicion of human trafficking in Hanoi

Police in Hanoi arrested a man for allegedly trafficking women to China on Monday.  Dao Van Duong, a 27-year-old native of the Northern Province of Ha Nam, has been charged with cheating seven women and selling them to China between April and October of 2010.  The victims included 16-year-old Tran Thi Nhung, who was later rescued from prostitution services along with three other women.  Investigations into the case are currently underway.  Source: Thanh Nien |
